Need scan converter: composite/S-video/component --> VGA

I just got a cheap 21" monitor I'd like to use as a pseudo HDTV in my bedroom. I need a good scan converter that will convert composite, S-video and component video to a VGA(HD15 or BNC) signal. I would like something less than $100. Anyone know of any?

I also have a 21", a Sony 21" Trinitron which I originally intended to be used as a TV in addition to its computer duties. I have a Radeon VIVO which I use for everyday video input use, and the quality up front isn't as good as if it were a real TV. Especially with video games.

Basically, for less than 100 dollars you're going to get 1 of two converters. The "Cheese Video Box" that many retailers seem to carry

Or, there's this one, that I got. It's basically the same thing, and I don't think that there is a difference in quality. (At least I hope.)
Video Mate

I say hope because the quality was nowhere near what I had hoped. I was expecting it too look like a WEGA TV or something. However it looks rather soft and non-detailed. Granted, from 9 feet away on my bed it looks fine. Sigh. Oh well, I hope that helps....

If anyone else has a better suggestion I'm all ears for a good looking converter.
