Need Remote Control Software, for over Port 80 and via Browser..

Currently using winVNC.. very happy with it...

However, the place of work im going to, is very restrictive on its port openings... they don't have ports 5800/5900 open

So.. im looking for an alternative...

1) I don't mind installing software on the server.
2) Software needs to run over port 80 (in and out)
3) No software can be installed on the client machine at work
4) Must work from a browser

I have used these with tech support for clients. Pretty secure and don't have to mess with firewalls since they run over your browser.

*EDIT* MS Terminal Services has an Active-X web-based interface. I doubt though that the Active-X client runs on port 80; however, you can give it a shot.

P.S. Does your new work place have FTP PORTS 20 & 21 open? (Or is that 21 & 22?) If so, you may be able to configure VNC to run on those ports instead. Furthermore, VNC appears to have a web-interface.

*EDIT* MS Terminal Services has an Active-X web-based interface. I doubt though that the Active-X client runs on port 80; however, you can give it a shot.

The active-x control is really just a remote install method for machines that don't have the client, MS still requires 3389 to be open from the machine with the browser and the target machine (I know, I tried setting it up for this exact reason )
