I bought a gamepad but the driver is only available in Simplified Chinese so I can't install it. Therefor I can't use the force feedback function.

Are there any reference driver or universal driver that I can use to enable the force feedback function of my gamepad?

There's no such thing as a generic driver for advanced functions like force-feedback, as it's not a standard function. I assume it's a USB gamepad, so you may not even be able to use a generic driver like "4-button gamepad" to get even basic functionality. What kind of gamepad is it?

It is a USB gamepad and it just like a playstation gamepad. Windows can detect all the buttons and the 2 analog sticks already. But it seems I need to install a proper driver to enable the force-feedback function.

sounds like you're out of luck then...

Next time you get a gamepad, I'd make sure there's some actual drivers availible somewhere for it

it depends on what the gamepad looks like and how its laid out. The drivers of an Interact Hammer pad should work for it, as well as the logitech wingman gamepad. also, look into saitek's website, they have quite a few universally compatible drivers.
