I'd like to get a stand alone TV Tuner card for watching and recording TV to my hard drive and am having trouble sifting through the many that are available on newegg.
Also, is DRM an issue? If so, are there cards out there still that are available without it?

Looking for your comments and suggestions, thanks alot! :)

if you never plan to use linux and OTa (over the air) HD isn't what you are looking for, snag up a theater 550 based card, they are dirt cheap now.....if you want HD (not through cable or anything just antenna) the theater 650 is a nice little option (assuming they get the currents bugs worked out)....if you want linux support, PVR-150

I won't be hooking up an antenna, just the analog cable feed. OS is Windows XP Pro.

I use the Sapphire Theatrix 550 pro. It works just fine in my HTPC.

My co-worker has a location free box (pretty much the same thing) and they are pretty cool, but I think its kind of a waste to just get your home tv on your home desktop. Its great for getting tv on your psp, notebook or windows based phone when you are out. But, if you are just going ot use it at home I think it would be a waste. A slingbox goes for around $300 I think where as you can get a decent tv tuner card for about $70.
