NEED RECOMMENDATION QUICK

About to buy a laptop... It comes with a free game up to $50 value. I'm either going to buy a high priced game and sell it or buy a game that my wife and I will both love.

No first person shooters or anything WOW-like... We liked simcity... Or perhaps a sports game we can both play...

Any recommendations?

The Sims 1 or 2. You can have a blast making your wife one of the sims and telling her to clean up and cook things in the game 😛

We're not big "game" freaks... Last game we played was the original SimCity... I was thinking about getting version 4... But thought there might be something more out there along the same lines...

We can play over a home network or at the same machine.

Killing and monsters aren't too exciting to us... Just something "down to earth " and fun...

Might I suggest Capitalism 2. It has multiplayer capabilities and it is basically like Sim City except you run a business.

Recommended that one to my mother in law last week (she purchased). I picked up the Gateway FX 6860 last night and it's definitely a "best bang for the buck" machine...
