Need recommend: cheap skt 478 PCIe board

Can anyone recommend a cheap socket 478 board with a PCIe graphics slot? Ideally, the board should support DDR333 memory, so I can continue to use my old sticks.

(For those who care, someone gave me a PCIe graphics card, my current board is AGP, I'd like to upgrade keeping my old CPU/fan and memory)

Thanks all.

I suspect, but can't confirm from my own knowledge, that the 478 has been left behind in the AGP section, and the PCI-e is almost totally for Intel 775. I haven't paid a lot of attention to Intel for the past 5-6 years, actually. (Later: I was curious, and looked at what Newegg has. The P4Dual-915GL from Asrock is a micro-ATX, and has AGP as well as PCI-e, BUT it's my recollection on this one, that unlike their 939 Dual, the AGP on this MB is actually not AGP 8X at all, but some variation of the old and slow plain PCI. There was a comment added by a Newegg visitor about an Albatron PX915P4C Pro, but the Egg didn't have that one.)

😱

True... No way of getting AGP and PCIe on a S478 mobo... Any cheap mobo with the i865PE, Via PT880 or SiS 655FX chipset will do great for you...

That VIA PT880 Pro chipset board looks interesting with a true AGP 8X and PCIe 16X. I'd personally avoid the Intel 915GL chipset board because the PCIe and AGP slots are not "real" in that the AGP runs off the PCI bus and the PCIe "16X" is really a physical 16X slot running off 4X. Just look up the specs on the two chipsets.

Hmm, you guys are good... I'm not surprised it's AsRock to come out with such mobo's... 🙂

Zap is right, it's the same with the MSI K8N Neo3-FSR... The "AGR" downgrades the performance of your AGP graphics card by quite a bit, because it runs off the PCI bus as well...
