Alright, well i have been doing some research and decided to change a few things, tell me what you think of this set up and what you would change. I will be using this computer mostly for games.
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 $300
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R$160
Video Card: EVGA 8800GTX $547
Power Supply: Corsair 620HX $150
Memory: OCZ Reaper HPC Edition PC2-6400 800Mhz (2 sets) $180
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracude 7200.10 320GB $75
DVD Burner: Sony NEC Optiarc SATA $34
Operating System: Windows Vista 64-bit Home Premium $115
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme with Scythe SFF21F $70
Brings the total to $1581 after $50 of MIR
One thing I am not certain about getting is the memory. Should I go 4x1gb or 2x2gb? If I would go 2x2gb I would be getting two sticks of these Patriot Extreme Performance DDR2 6400 800Mhz.
So what would be the best option to go with in that case? I don't want to spend more than $200, $225 max on 4gb of memory.
How does everything else look too?
Thanks
