Need recomendation for CHEAP dvd decoding software

Does somebody know of some cheap dvd decoding software? Most of the stuff I can find out there like PowerDVD cost $40. Wish I had sent in that $5 when I first got my Voodoo5 5500.

Yeah, all the stuff I saw is shareware that turns off without unlocking it.
