Title says it all, want something 2 of us can play together against the computer, basically the single player missions with two us.

We've conqured this so far:

Serious Sam 2
Diablo 2

Is there anything out there that's worth a damn? BTW, we got Lord of the Rings: ROTK for the PC, and what crock that was. Basically a direct console port with 2 people being able to play on ONE machine. Crap.

Any help?

Coop in a sense - Jedi Knight II, Jedi Academy, and Mechwarrior 4 all let you fill open slots in the multiplayer games with AI opponenents. It's lot's of fun to play CTF and other games together against the computer.

Also, most newer flight sims like Combat Flight Simulator 3 let you fly cooperative missions against the computer.

My suggestions are:

Ghost Recon, Ghost Recon, and oh, Ghost Recon.

We had so much fun doing those mission co-op. It was a blast.

If you want a good FPS co-op realistic squad based combat game to play multiplayer... you cannot beat this game. The missions take time, planning, and teamwork.

If one guy just runs around with his guns blazing you will lose.. you need to figure out a plan, learn the maps, and work together.. you will love it (if you like this style of game that is).

No One Lives Forever 2 has Co-op and it's pretty fun.... short though. Only like 5 or 6 missions and they're all a lot smaller than the actual single-player missions. But still fun.

Quake1
Quake2
System Shock2

These are old-school games, but are a blast playing Co-op...

Here's the thing. It's my girl that I'm playing with (No pun intended) and she liked Diablo 2, loved serious sam, but isn't really into anything that tactical, and nothing even multiplayer like CoOp capture the flag. I know I'm limiting, but anyone have anything else good?

If you have a Gamecube, Mario Kart Double Dash has really fun co-op. One person drives, the other person powerslides and throws weapons.

As suggested before, Dungeon Siege would fit the bill for you:

From the Dungeon Siege Multiplayer Page:

"The multiplayer portion of Dungeon Siege will allow players to play through the entire single player world and the huge Utraean Peninsula multiplayer campaign either alone or with friends. The Utraean Peninsula is considerably larger and contains a unique storyline and accompanying quests that takes an adventurous band of up to eight players across the vast expanses to locate the eight stones of Utrae."

Except with its newer cousin Raven Shield...

John P - Thanks, I know it's been mentioned before, but perhaps I'll check it out. Hopefully it's not to indepth for her to grasp it.

Thanks to everyone.

...I just wish there were more Single Player Missions for CoOp in more games.
