I've been meaning to brush up on these two topics, but I havent touched calc or statistics since 1998. If you were to try and teach yourself in 3 months the baseline level of math necessary to understand and run a principal component analysis and/or an independent component anlysis, what would you recommend reading that is fairly accessible/understandable for the average joe?
