Well it's been nearly two weeks since the new build and I must say I'm quite pleased. Coming from my old Q9550 and 8800GTS with that hamstrung P5B-E motherboard it's a massive difference to put it mildly. The gigabyte board seems solid so far although I haven't done much with the OC features other than raise the multiplier a bit. Only issue I had was with my old Soundblaster Xfi installing and crashing in some games which I ditched in favor of the onboard audio and honestly it's just as good.

Nice, glad everything is working out well for you. Now start OCing that thing and keep an eye on the temps. You'll hit the thermal limits of the chip before you hit the OC limits on the board.
