a friend of mine gave me an old K6 233 system with a blown power supply. i don't know how much ram it has, but these were the markings and i'm hoping someone can ID it for me :)

SyncMax
PC100-106
USA R3 9904
S4008LK4TW

there are 4 chips per side in a 168-pin DIMM. i'll soon find out how much ram it has as i just fixed the PS(had to change the fuse, fan and two diodes"

thanks :)

I've come across this great little German Program that can identify the RAM, from whatever the manufacturers put into the chips, and test it. Though it may not be exactly what you're looking for, it's a good RAM test, download it here:

ctSPD

It's freeware, just scroll down to where it says Download ctSPD, and download the program itself is in english.

You can try sisoft's sandra program. There is a free version. It tells you everything you could ever want to know about your system!

Sure it is a nifty program, but it often identifies the SPD of most memory WRONG.
