Sorry, I mean like B&M stores. I'm on the phone with RadioShack and this guy says some of their stores carry them, so here's hopin'

Any other stores that might carry them?
 
im guessing he would want it for Raleigh NC unless he either lied in his profile or is visiting somewhere else and refering to that locality as local
 
Well I'm pretty sure I can't get any locally and DigiKey will ship 'em overnight for $30+ and the $23 for three of the chips.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OF THESE CHIPS THAT THEY CAN OVERNIGHT TO ME?????
 
isn't raleigh a pretty high tech area? - aren't there any mom & pop electronics shops around there? Theres a few places in Dallas and Austin, I bet theres one there somewhere. Comin up on 5pm though...

What do you need them for on Thanksgiving?
 
Yeah I'm calling a bunch of electronics shops in the phone book, but I talked to a guy @ a sales office of a company that sells these and he says he's 99% sure there's NO ONE in raleigh that has them stocked locally.

We have a project due this Tuesday and I was supposed to pick up some parts before the university closed 🙁 Goddamn what a fvck up
 
I called RS and one guy said some stores have them but then he couldn't find them at all in the system. Apparently they've stopped carrying them?

The problem is its a decently complex system consisting of a three wheeled chassis with two servo motors to move it, a pair of ultrasonic sensors, and a pair of IR sensors designed for collision avoidance. I wouldn't know how to simulate all that...

The good news is my partner thinks he can get the parts from another team *whew* 😱 Saved my ass....
