The BeQuiet range are so silent you won't notice they are on. Reliable too.

I hate to say this, but if you're making less than minimum wage, you probably shouldn't be planning on Crossfire or SLI anytime soon. I would resign myself to the idea of staying with a single card and being a little behind the performance curve. Your next upgrade, instead of a Haswell CPU, should be an FX-8350, which can fit in the same motherboard, and maybe a newer graphics card, like the 7970, which would be far more cost effective upgrades.
In fact, you might want to think about putting money somewhere else other than computer hardware.
If you want silence, do not buy a Seasonic X series PSU, or any PSU based on them. I've had four of the god-forsaken things, and every one has had coil whine. My last one was silent to begin with, but after a few months it started buzzing after warming up.
No coil while on my X750 either. Dead silent.I've had an X650 and an X660, both dead silent, no coil whine at all.
I think it may be down to what hardware it is powering. Some components may induce coil whine more easily than others
