Goal is for definition / weight loss but do it "healthy" Would liek to pick it up in a few hours on the way home from work.

Not something terribly expensive.

Any suggestions?

Do you have a Vitamin Shoppe anywhere close? I'd go there over GNC, better brands and prices IMO.

Um, why do you need it fast? If you're not currently taking it, save some $$ and shop online for it at dpsnutrition.com or any other supplement site. Protein powders should be used to supplement your diet for protein...what are you "wanting" to use it for?

Body Fortress at Target, Wal-mart, elsewhere, is OK for the money. I think it is 2lbs for $12-$14?

This. I've been using this about three weeks now, and I've seen some nice gains mass wise in my chest (which was flatter than my stomach lol)

designer whey (by next nutrition) is by far the best tasting protein i've ever had, and it mixes so easily by stirring it with a knife.

I think both the vanilla and chocolate taste horrible in water, but the chocolate is ok in milk. I never tried the vanilla with milk.

It mixes well too for such a cheap protein powder.

I use Syntrax Nectar chocolate truffle. Very high quality whey protein isolate, with virtually no fat/calories/carbs, mixes really easily and is absolutely delicious. Tastes exactly like chocolate milk when mixed with, well, milk... This shouldn't be surprising, but I tried a series of awful protein powders before this one that tasted nothing like the flavor indicated. The only downside is that this stuff isn't cheap: ~$26 for 2.2lbs.

I've used this, but only mixed in milk. I like the chocolate, but the vanilla is disgusting IMO.

Try the vanilla in yogurt or in smoothies if you don't want to make a drink out of it. It's not bad that way. I use the Body Fortress when money is tight, but I mostly use Six Star brand. It tastes better IMHO.

I use syntha-6 protein powder and i think it taste great with water. Found it for 26-27 bucks a jar.

I use it for general protein supplementation and as an afterwork out snack at night.
