Need program to turn computer on and off at certain times

Im working on seting up a monitor to hang in my fathers store front that will be looping pictures and videos of past jobs. The monitor will be hooked up to an old computer and Im looking for a program that will turn the computer on and off at certain times. Is there a program like this built into Windows XP? If not, does anyone know of a program that I can get that will acomplish this? Thanks.

From cold boot, no.

I doubt you could have machine power on via software, but maybe you can put it into hibernation to consume as little power as possible?

Thats what I figured. So is there a program that will power it back on from hibernation and put it back into hibernation at a certain time?

I would just set the BIOS to power on from power loss, and use a timer + scheduled shutdown (so that it shuts down before the timer shuts off, and then when the timer turns on, it boots up and autostarts the images)
