Pick a DC project. Some are better suited to utilizing memory than others, Seti is one that uses the memory quite a bit.

All will use the processor at 100%

I am not sure of any that really utilize the HD heavily.......

Other people will have to weigh in here because my experience is limited pretty much to RC5 and SETI....

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? We can hopefully help you pick the right program for what you want to do.

I'd add that you might want to throw a 3D game or app in the mix. Run one of the DC programs (my preference is SETI but there are others) at the same time as the 3D game/app is running to stress the system even more. In the "old days" I used to run the Unreal flyby along with a program that stresses the CPU (can't remember the name of it though).

run seti while you do prime 95......or sandra burn test.......both or all three will certainly tax your system to the max......

For some strange reason Folding@Home will keep my CPU hotter than either SETI@Home or ECCp-109. I really have no idea why this is, though, but maybe if you want to tax your CPU to the max, come over to the site at Stanford and get the F@H client. Of course, remember to sign up with Team AnandTech (number 198). :D

Prime 95. That's it! That's the program I couldn't remember.

Whatever project you decide to try, hope you stick with it and join Team Anandtech! :D
