Need Printer Recomndations Please

I need a new all in one printer.
Right now I have a cheap HP that I use for scanning , but the black no longer works even with a new HP brand cartridge and I have an Epson R200 with a ciss that I used for printing on CD/DVDs but now seems to be clogged up and will not print.

Sometimes I print several things per day (tax season) for a few days and sometimes I might not print anything for a month or more so I would like something that is reliable and doesn't clog up with infrequent use.
I want a printer that has a built in scanner, has WiFI, can print on printable CD/DVDs, and has an available continuous ink system that I could install.

How are the newer Epson Artisan line of printers like the 710/810?
I've heard the very newest 730/837 models have difficulties with ciss systems so thats why I asked about the older 710/810 models.

any other printer recommendations? I'd like to keep the cost at $200 or less

thanks

In my experience, no inkjet meets this criteria. I have an inexpensive Samsung color laser multifunction and it works great for me, but it doesn't print CDs.

Here you go buddy.

It may be refurbished but its less then you want to spend, does all that you ask for, ink is cheap, shipped free, and though it is a refurbished unit will show up looking like new and is epson refurbished not 2nd party. And like you sometimes I dont print for a while but I have yet to have one epson I bought, I have bought my last 6 printers direct from epson, clog up on me.

Need ink?

That should get you going under what you want to pay and the money you saved by not spending the full $200 on a printer can buy you a crap ton of ink for it 😉

Buy any cheapo $200 or less all-in-one, they're gonna have the same issues after about a year anyway, they're disposable.

Don't get hung up on the CD printing, I cant say i've ever even seen a printer that does this. Get a DVD burner with Lightscribe and do it the right way.

That being said, Brother makes good devices but the software is awful. Epson makes decent devices but the software is a little better.

thanks for the info/advice everyone.

Mushkins: I have a DVD burner with Lightscribe and while its a nice feature it takes a long time to burn a quality Lightcribe label plus the blank media is usually more expensive and the big deal breaker for me is its not in color.

I noticed Epson has a Refurb Artisan730 for $79 which has all the features I want. Only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is I have read a few reviews where people have had issues when printing multiple pages using a CISS or non oem cartridges..apparently i'tll give some kind of cartridge error..read the 837 has the same prob.

I bought an Epson Workforce pro 4530 and I'm really happy with it.

The low ink usage is pretty phenomenal to me, coming from being a lifelong HP user. I've done at least 25, maybe 30+ big jobs so far without a hitch.

I been using non oem in every printer I have owned and have yet to have a problem with them, and I own the WF3540. I take it back I had one cart not work once I contacted the seller and not only did he replace the one but gave me a free black to boot.
