my general rule of thumb is that any time I see a photo on a dating site (Asian or otherwise) that's any more professional than a cellphone camera photo, I assume it's a fake until I have reason to believe otherwise.

the only thing that throws a monkey wrench into the rule are actors in NYC using their headshots on dating sites.
