Need opinions on a good Pc mag similar to "Maximum PC"

I already subscribe to Maximum PC but would like to find another decent one with more reviews of current hardware .

I read many reviews online but alot of times need a quick check of something when not online . It's always nice to have a bit of reading material for the bathroom ya' know ! ........... That is , until I set up a computer in there too

If the magazines did'nt make any money , there would be none to subscribe to .

How can it be "a good Pc mag" and similar to "Maximum PC" at the same time?????

I still have the original boot 01 or 00 laying around (for you youngsters Maximum PC used to be called "Boot" and was cool before they sold out to imaginemedia).

Yesterday as I resited throwing out my old "Boot Discs" for the 20th time, I was reflecting how far downhill that rag has gone since the early days. (memories.... boot disk 11: meat puppet, boot disc 13 X-Com Apocalypse, x-wing vs tie-fighter, george clinton p-funk, boot disc 23: starsiege, jane's F15, battlezone, forsaken, grand theft auto (what a month!))

I think this is my last month of "Maximum PC" and the only thing I'll notice is that I have one less thing to throw away.

But it's a good question: Almost every rag out their these days is garbage and out of date by the time I get it. What "good Pc mag"s are left.............

CPU is pretty good. Not as high quality as online reviews and they usually just give you a few benches, but Anand, Sharky and Kyle usually write columns there.

I used to get Maximum PC...but then I started going online for my reviews, and I realized that those mags are a month behind lol
