Need office chair suggestions

I have around $150 to $200 to spend on a nice office chair...

so what should i get??? i am a big guy (5' 10", 235lb), so confortablility is importnat!

 

I got a really nice chair for $39.99 during OfficeMax's Friends and Family sale in late April. I saw it in OM today for $129.99.

Should be in your price range, but do you really want a chair that's been sold for $80 cheaper? I've found that there are two real classes of chairs: ones that are cheap enough to be replaced every few years, so they're a good deal, and ones that are really expensive but really good, so you won't need to replace them.

I have the former type.

I would try to get a nice chair, if you spend any time at all sitting on your ass at work.

I literally hate my $15 AR chair from Office Depot, although I haven't replaced it yet. I think it regularly sales for $60, but if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have bought it. Yes, it's that crappy. The first thing you'll notice is that seat cushion won't last you very long before it's compressed.

And many of the regularly-priced $100ish chairs from Office Depot, OfficeMax, and Staples aren't a whole lot better. You're definitely advised to avoid the cheapest models though.

yeah i was bored, and went to officemax to check them out...

i think i'll spend around $200 to get myself a nice ass chair...so i will be happy

i just don't know which one to get!

I use a HumanScale and a Herman Miller aeron size B. Best chairs on the market. But, they're a tad bit over $200.

Ebay has the Herman Miller chairs for around $500. They sell for $800+ in the stores. The HumanScale are $1000 in stores, but sell for around $799 on Ebay. I know the Aeron chairs have a ten year warranty. When you buy a $200 chair you really get a $200 (or less) chair. These Aeron Chairs do last a long time. They are super heavy at 80lbs.
