NEED O/Cing tips! Are 815E chipsets (like the Asus CUSL2) Just as good For O/Cing & what's the best memory for O/Cing??

Yea I know I've posted about the Asus board already, but now I have a different question. Ya see I'm building a new system, and I don't know if it's smarter to go with the new Solano 815E chipset or stay with older Via or BX mobo's. I've read lots of reviews on the new 815E boards like the Abit SE6, the Asus one and such and so far many of them show some disappointment in the performance in comparison to the older BX and Via's. Now I'm not so sure I should go down the 815E route. I can use some suggestions as to what board would provide great o/cability with stability and w/ ATA100 support. I heard the Abit 6BA+ 100 BX board is pretty good, but should I stick w/ the newer 815E chipset? Maybe it'll start shining in the future... anyone have any input on this? And also I've been looking at some EMS PC133 HSDRAM, but now I'm questioning whether HSDRAM holds any true advantage over such SDRAMS that can get to High FSB's at Cas2 like Crucial's and Mushkin's and such. Is there any performance gain's outa the HSDRAM... is the faster ns rating going to make a difference? Are there any cheaper and better solutions (lower than $170 for 128MB stick that does 150MHz @ cas2)? Any suggestions and input would be appreciated.
 
If cost isn't really an issue, the CUSL2 Asus i815s are hitting stores in the U.S. for around $150(ouch)..

On the other hadn, I couldn't be happier with the Soyo 6VCA(via 133A mb) that i picked up for $96.

What's wrong with the i815E? As long as you don't use the on-board i752 video, the performance is on-par with the BX, and in some cases surpasses it.

It's not just the chipset, it's also the board as well. With an ASUS CUSL2, you can't really go wrong. It has ATA100, stability, and the AGP 1/2 divider, which the BX does not have. It also has the ability to asynchronously run RAM at a different speed to the FSB.

I think it's been said before that HSDRAM's advantages are pretty questionable.....slightly faster at some things, slightly slower in others.
