need notepad from system32 and sysWOW64 for XP

I STUPIDLY replaced my notepad.exe's from system32 and syswow64 with Flo's notepad2 and now everytime I rightclick and edit something with a space in the name it ask if i want to creat the file. If I then click the close button it opens another notepad. So can anybody send me thier notepad.exe's from both system32 and syswow64 (labled which is which)

I can send you notepad but the other is from a 64bit XP install isnt it or comes with someother software as i dont have that on my 32 XP

Yep the 32bit version isn't a problem as i really pick that from any of my 32bit machines, but thanks anyway. The one I'm in most need of is the one that resides in the sysWOW64 folder. I'm clining to this XP X64 install in the hope it will last me till windows 7 is ready.

Have you searched your entire system for notepad.exe or "notepad.ex_"? There might be an original installer version laying around somewhere.

Well have you tried associating the shortcut with notepad2 correctly? In file associations it should say something like "path\to\notepad2" "%1" instead of %1 without the double quotes.

it's mainly for right clicking .BAT and .REG files, I've done the .Reg files thanks xtknight, but can't find the bat file in the assosiations.
