Need nforce4 Chipset cooler suggerstion plz

nforce4 chipsets run hot
It makes sense to put a fan or replace the heatsink with a kit

If you knew anything about this chipset you would know that many have encountered problems, even had their pc crash from overheating,

My suggestions to you....if you don't know anything or can't add any informative or otherwise intelligent response to a thread, don't add your 2 cents

And I appreciate the obnoxious bump

Do you want a quiet fanless heatsink or something that cools better? The Zalman NB47 is the best passive cooler, but watch out for interference with video cards because it's so tall. The next best would be the Zalman NB32 or Cooler Master PAC-P01. With any of them you can add a 40mm fan if you need more cooling.

OMG you made a typo. learn to keep your fingers on the correct keys, please! the extra letter makes your post beyond all comprehension!

I've heard that people have had decent luck with an old vantec VGA cooler. "crystal orb" i think? they can be found pretty cheap, and they are low profile, so it won't interfere with longer graphics cards.

I'd say you just need better airflow in the case that seems like a pretty nice passive cooler for the northbridge already on it idk how a zalman can be that much better.

OK never mind. For some reason, I read Asus instead of Abit. That's already a nice passive cooler on that Abit motherboard. A Zalman NB47 is a little bigger but not much.
