my current remote harmony 650, is almost dead. my kids have dropped it so much the arrow keys don't work.

I'm looking for something cheap but durable. I use the programmable buttons on the remote to launch Sagetv, XBMC, and WMC, depending on what I'm doing.

possibilities.

or a basic windows MCE remote (my old one lasted like 5 years!)

I'm leaning towards the harmony 300 but one thing I HATE about my current 650 is that the slightest bump causes it to reset. I mean sitting on the couch and let it fall 6 inches onto a cushion and it goes back to it's first menu.
I don't want the same problem with another harmony.

I think a regular remote with play, pause, and arrow buttons would be best for the wife. although the lenova one looks kinda cool

so, any suggestions?

Galaxy tab 2 7" has an ir emitter for just that...

LOL but that's not cheap nor durable....unless I got an otterbox case maybe. :)

I'm leaning towards the harmony 300 because my wife wants one remote to control the HTPC, turn the tv on/off and control the volume on the receiver.

Well, wasn't sure of the price point, I bought one for 150 refurbed. Plus it would serve double duty... Just a thought.
