Need new sunglasses, don't want to spend a ton of $

Lost a cheap pair of sunglasses I've had for about 4 years at the lake over the weekend and looking into getting a new pair. I usually buy the cheap stuff from the local gas station, but this last one I had was severely falling apart, losing it was the final tipping point in getting a new pair. Anything *decent* in the $50 range you guys would recommend that'll last a good while? Or do I need to up my budget?

I just got this $40 nike pair at costco. They were polarized and look to be pretty solid. definitely get polarized

I saw a $50 pair in Dick's last week and passed. Walked 4 stores down in the mall to JC Penny and bought the same style, non-polarized for $20.

You only need polarized if you are going to be staring at the sun a ton. Otherwise get a cheap decent looking pair from Wally world or Target.

I haven't done a ton of fishing in the last couple of years but it's something I plan on getting back into now that my daughter is a bit older, so polarized is what I'll be looking for.

I find that if you get safety glasses that are polarized, it's way cheaper than buying sunglasses. And they wrap all the way around your eyes. My current pair I got free at work, but you can buy similar ones for about $20-$25 at places like Tractor Supply or maybe even Home Depot. Amazon has some too.

If you don't buy $300 Ray-Bans, you're a chump.

That being said, I've had good luck at Dick's. Got a pair in the off-season for about $15.

Sunglasses are more or less made on the same street of factories in China.

The same sunglasses are then shipped across the US, marked at different prices. $10 at Walmart, $20 at Target, $30 or more at mall stores.

I tend to spend a lot on my sunglasses, but it's something I use every day over my most important sensory input. I go polarized oakleys, yeah its 150 bucks but they are indestructible and they stick to my head like geordi's visor.

I go the cheap route, around $10, sunglasses tend to get beat up or lost, same with cell phones, I use a $30 Samsung basic phone, if it gets dropped, rained on I just pull the SIM go to Wally and buy another. Smartphones are awesome pieces of technology packed into a tiny object but I'd be too afraid I'd spill coffee on it or something..

I got a pair of polaroid glasses a couple of months back (obviously they are polarized). Build quality seems top notch and I am very happy with them. They cost me about £30 so I am sure you could pick them up for $50 or less.
