Hey guys im looking for a new monitor anywhere in the 200-350 dollar range. I have never owned a quality monitor and i just built a brand new rig for Battlefield 3 and Diablo 3 gaming. Once again i want this to be a gaming monitor able to keep up with no input lag and so on... Im not sure if i should go with an IPS or a TN panel, i DONT CARE as much about every color being perfect, all i really want is DECENT color and amazing gaming experience with no lag whatsoever. Im running a radeon hd 6850, with an i5 2500k cpu. $2-350 please thanks everyone!

Asus VG236HE 120hz --> experience ultra smooth image and zero screen tearing in BF3. You could probably put everything on low settings, get well over 60 fps and enjoy the advantage over other players 😀

I've got a 60hz 27 incher and a 120hz 22 incher, the 22 incher is a lot better for online FPS simply because the image is so smooth at high frame rates.

don't forget your last 2 input devices that count

In a world ... where only two input devices remain ... :awe:

But seriously, getting a nice mouse and keyboard can make a difference. I like my G500 and mechanical Das Keyboard; they make a big difference in the overall experience.

Okay, if you want something big and low cost I'll suggest a budget LCD for you. I-INC 28" 1920x1200. Tiger Direct sells them. COMPUSA has them as well (which is owned by TD). Normally about $279 but you can find them on sale quite often for $249 in store. Its a TN panel but looks quite good. No ghosting and excellent for games. Hansee also makes a similar 28" TN LCD for about $280. If you need to have extremely accurate color (photo editing, etc.,) then you'll want to go with an IPS LCD but if you are a gamer on a budget and want something large then check out the I-INC 28". I love mine.
