Need new LED's. But what size?

I have some LED's that burned out on a few cases at work and one at home. I was about to order some more. However there are quite a few size selections available. I was wondering what size to order? I do not feel like drilling to get the size right. I just want to order some, replace them and be done with it.
They are just the standard ones on the case. However I think I will pay the premium for the blue, white or whatever interesting color I may find.

Thanks.

Theres 2 main sizes when it comes to Case LED's... 3mm and 5mm... Bring the LED to radioshack and compare sizes, more than likely it will be one of the 2...

for the cases I have, all but one of them use 5mm LEDs. The higher prices for LEDs are for the super\ultra bright LEDs or white\blue LEDs.

The most common sizes are 3mm or 5mm. There are other sized LEDs, and LEDs that take different voltages, most are in the 3V or 5V range of course your mileage will vary. If you have a multimeter, test the voltage of the LED leads, and see what they are at, 5V LEDs will take what most boards dish out, but you never know.

Watch out for the brightness, if you sleep with the computer on, you may find yourself with a nightlight that is brighter than what a nightlight is...

You will know the difference between a 3mm and a 5mm LED... they are obviously different sizes...

I paid some 30 cents for some red ultrabright LEDs, and 2 to 4 dollars for my white and blue ones.
