Had to give one of m monitors to my in-laws so I'm in the market for a new display.

right now I have an ASUS VW266H 25.5" 1920 x 1200. I'm trying to match another one to it problem is they don't make this model anymore.

So I'm trying to decide if I buy a similar size one that runs 1920 x 1080 and lower the resolution on mine or find a slightly smaller one that runs at 1920 x1200. I'm trying not to spend a heck of a lot and most of the quality 1920 x1200's run upwards of $1000.

NewEgg has these 1920 x 1200 models for a somewhat reasonable price HP LA2405wg for $280
The Hanns-G HZ281HPB 27" for $279

I could get this ASUS VE258Q Black 25" 1920 x 1080 for $249
I could also get this ASUS VE278Q Black 27" used less then a yr old for $250

Any opinions? Experience with any of these?

Sitting in front of the VE278Q as I type this, and it is beautimous. Got it for $299 fs @ the egg last December, and haven't regretted it for a second.
