hi i need anyone with experience on a upgrade for my microtel pc with a asrock m810lmr running the Via kl133a chips.I would like something thats going to make a real difference, but not that expensive - less than 200.00. The guide says the MOBO will support socket A (462 pins) for AMD Athlon/Atlon XP, or Duron processors. Thanks

Unforunatly the KL133A only supports 200/266fsb chips which are hard to get nowadays.
Full List there is the full cpu support list from there website

what voltages does your motherboard support
if they go low enough you could run a xp-mobile
are there any later 266mhz cpus?
or you can run a 333mhz cpu at 4/5 speed
so a XP barton 2500 would end up as a 2000
if you had the mobile you could up the multiplier to compensate for the slower bus and the larger cache would help hide the slightly slower memory
The full list posted above may not be up to date
have you posted in the motherboard forum

Meh. Where do you live, jerryjg? If it's in Europe, I'm sure we can make a deal. I've got a Athlon 1400+ (current machine) that's gonna be obsolete in a few weeks.
