Need Nashville restaurant help

Going to be in Nashville with the wife tonight. Looking for a somewhat nice restaurant to dine at. Preferably something somewhat unique to Nashville but not all that expensive. Hopefully something in the $10-$20 range like Applebys or Outback. Also looking to stay somewhat near downtown since that's where our room is.

Secondly, looking for a good bar or two downtown to hit afterwards. Not looking for anything that will be packed to the limit, just somewhere low key with good drinks and a laid back atmosphere.

There's some good places over by Vandy's campus and the Parthenon that we usually eat at when we're in town although I honestly can't remember the names off the top of my head. Nashville's a pretty cool town.
