Need Motherboard Advice

I am looking to upgrade my motherboard that has just bit the dust. I have a MSI board with a VIA KT133 chipset. Since I already have a bunch of SD ram I would like a motherboard with both DDR for the future and SDR for me now. I have read that the VIA KT266a chipset supports both kinds of ram but I can't find any board with it. Other than that all I can find is the ALI chipset that supports both. Please help.

Thanks in advance.

most new chipsets support both sdr and ddr... but very very few motherboard makers decided to include sdr

in my opinion your best choice is to sell the sdr in the fs/ft forum and buy some ddr and get a kt333 based motherboard (i really like the epox 8k3a+)

but if you have to have a board with both sdr and ddr slots about your best choice is the ecs k7s5a.. the board is over a year old, and definatly not going to perform like the boards based on newer chipsets

thanks for replying,
i know that it wont perform the same but i will only have the computer until january so i don't want to spend more money than i have to. i will look into the ecs. any other board ideas?
