need more storage space...

i need some storage space for stuff like movies, mp3s, and the like.. should i get SATA or SATAII drives which are like 200% more expensive than ATA drives i can get in the hot deals forum? or should i just gets lots of ata drives for cheap?

if you're not going to go with any raid configs, i would stick to the cheaper ATA drives.
