Well, primarily, windows will give the "active" (the program that you are looking at or using) highest priority. You can give a program higher priority manually by hitting CTRL-ALT-DEL and going to the processes tab. from there, find the program u want, right click it, and go to "set priority". That?s all you can do, if your still having problems then you might want to reduce the overall amount of processes you are running on your comp at one time to minimize CPU overhead.
