I just got my pc a month ago and my connection and my download speed were good for the first 2 weeks.i had a download speed of 5.50kb and now i get a download speed of 1.80kb as my average speed and i connect at 11500.Its not my phoneline because i have a laptop and i dl at 4.47kb so it has to be my modem.I already downloaded new modem drivers and still the same speed.what should i do?


 
check what speed you modem and COM port are running at in Device manager, try unisntalling then re-installing the modem
