Heh, me again seeking advice for my new system. I had it all ready to order but the motherboard I was going to order went out of stock.

EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra Socket 939 NVIDIA nF...oduct/product.asp?item=N82E16813123236[/L]

Thats what I had all ready to go but now I need someting very close to that price range and quality.

I wasnt hearing good things about MSI boards but I could be biased. Also I liked the EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra because it oveclocks well. Any suggestions would be very much appriciated.

EDIT: Heres the entire system I was looking at getting.LINK

BFG nForce 4 Ultra Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4

Is that a decent board? Also are there any brands I should aviod?

Chubs, just a heads-up on that board. From what I read, it seems to be just a re-badged Chaintech VNF4/Ultra. Newegg has the Chaintech board for $93 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813152049 ). Same board as the BFG, but at a cheaper price 😉 .

From what I read the mobo seems to be a good overclocker. Xbitlabs did a review on it ( http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mainboards/display/chaintech-nforce4.html ). The chipset on the mobo now comes with active cooling, instead of the passive cooling it had. Check the Chaintech forum at amdmb.com for more info. 🙂

if you want to see review of the bfg board go to www.hardocp.com they just reviewed it not to long ago. yes the rumor is its a rebadged chaintech however i think the bios is different then the chaintech.
