Need mobo, cpu and ram recommendation

I wanted to go for an e4300 c2d on the gigabyte ds3 and 2gb of g.skill DDR 533 memory. Can you tell me a better alternative or will the above be a good solution for a pure gaming system? Thanks very much.

Get 2GB of DDR2 667 value RAM instead. It's faster, and it's enough to overclock your E4300 to 3GHz (if your CPU can handle it).

Whatever is cheap. Check the Hot Deals forum. I recall (over the last week), seeing Kingston/Wintec/Super Talent all having 2GB DDR2 667 in the $120-$130 range.
