need mem advice

im looking to buy some new mem for my pc, this value stuff just isnt making me happy.
I'm think around the 300$ range for DDR3200 dual cannel 1gb(2X512)

whats your guys opinion? this one has lat at 2-2-2-5

im still simi new, so i dont know what those numbers mean.

what about your value ram is not making you happy? You will see very little performance difference, expecially for the money spent. If you have a A64 setup, you will see hardly any difference at all.

i think its whats cuasing my pc to freeze up.

1gb dual channel DDR3200 (2x512) kingston value ram
mobo MSI i865PE
ATI 9600XT 128 mb
120gb WD
6 fans(3 in / 3 out)
eveythings new cept the mem,and vid card.

If you think it's your memory thats causing your lockups, then you should run Memtest, and what PSU are you using?
