Need mboard advice - p4s533?

I am thinking about switching out my 8irxp to another p4 board. I have a p4 1.8a that I will be using and overclocking. I know Asus makes good boards (never owned one though), but there p4s533 does not have raid. Is there a version of this board coming out with raid? If not, which board do you all recommend that has raid? Which chipset is the fastest right now?

I have my p4 at 2.4 right now, but this board is not letting me get any more out of it. Seems to be a memory problem, but I have tried several brands and sticks to no avail.

So what do you all think? Is it worth it?

For the price of the P4S533 and all it has I would just get a raid card if I wanted raid

Agree with Double L, for the money of a P4S533 you can`t go wrong buying a raid card. Reading a lot of nice specs on this board.

Would like to know from someone who is O/C`ing a P4S533 what their settings are...FSB, PCI speed, memory settings (ratios) , etc. Thanks

What do you think the performance difference will be between the Asus p4s533 and my 8irxp? Any difference? I looked at the raid cards at newegg. I have never used highpoint controllers, are they better than promise.

Yes -- ordered mine last Monday and received it last Friday (with their 2day shipping). It takes them at least 48hrs to process your order.

Check the other threads, some folks are having problems with the MOBO.

Ordered mine yesterday, shipped today, looking forward to it early next week. Also just received my P4 1.6Ghz CPU retail. Ohhhhh I can't wait!

Crud!!!!!!!! Now Newegg is out of their raid cards (Promise and Highpoint) I gotta have one of those with this board. Anyone have any ideas where to get one chep. (ata 133 prefered)
