I need some extremely quick help on speccing out the needs to satisfy the configuration listed below.
100 users actively using an application which runs off a SQL database.
125 users which will log into the same application, however their logins will only perform limited functions..
Total of 225 users.
Right now, a current SQL box is in place which has 2.5TB clustered with 16gb memory on a dell poweredge, quad xeon. This box is currently used for storage and hosting the company website.
A new server and/or server farm will be required for this new venture. Can anyone recommend some basic specs for a server(s) that would support this amount of users/querying.
