I'm good with desktops, but really don't know enough about laptops to trust myself in buying one. My wife needs it for work, all it needs to do is run photoshop decently cs3, stuff like that. She's running that stuff atm at home with no issues on a 5yr old computer. I would think that any laptop that I look at would be faster than what she has atm, and would be fine
Battery life isn't important, she's going to be next to a plug all the time. Video card, ight be nice to play something equivelant to wow, maybe, but not important really. She was running a radeon 9800 pro up till a few months ago and it was fine.
Needs a 16in screen, and I will probably get it from best buy unless neweg has a sweet deal, and finally I am trying to keep it as cheap as possible, best buy has 1 for $550 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...oduct&id=1218041998788
That one looks fine to me though I hate HP, and I don't really want vista, in fact I am wondering if it would be ok to format it right out of the box and install xp instead.
