A phaser is a heck of a color printer, though it isn't laser. It uses solid ink blocks, which is a similar texture to crayons. The prints are super clear and sharp. You need to use their ink though. I used to work at a place that serviced them, and the cheap non xerox ink would plug the jets. The print head was like $1700 to replace, which is more than the printer cost. The cheap ink also voids the warranty. You need to leave them on all the time. Every time you shut it off and turn it on, it takes a half a stick of ink. It has a good power save mode. You can't move them when they were recently on. The ink is heated in a well, and moving it hot can slosh the ink out, and that really gums the works up. We sold alot of them and I think most customers were pretty happy. I'd get as much warranty as possible. If they do break down, it can get spendy.
