need info on tweeking voodoo5500 pci

i just got a voodoo5500 pci and i am running on a p3-800 i need into on tweeking and overclocking if you can help please help.. links to info sits would be nice... and what fps shoulc i expect in quake3 demo001 with high detales 32bit colour i am getting 78fps dose that sound righ or should it be more my drivers are version 4.12.01.0666 are these the newest ones... and how much can i overclock and still be safe.... thanks in advance

finally is it really worth bothering with HSR... i play many ea sports game quake3 and car games.... so should i bother with it just leave it

The HSR drivers are quite immature. I tried them in Quake3:Arena and the texture corruption was awful! Don't bother with them...yet!

i have not done alot of test on overclockin but it seems at 180/180 no problems but i dont get performance ganes ???? i dont know i will play around with it more and see... but there are my articles writtn on voodoo5 overclocking and performance you can chek them out....-

I do get a performance gain when overclocking, quake3 at 1280x1024 x 32 bit max shows a gain when overclocked, it depends on the game, settings(res) and your system.

If you have a fast CPU like a 1.2Ghz Athlon then the Voodoo5 becomes the bottleneck and you will see some improvements via overclocking but with a slower CPU like mine (883Mhz CeleronII) overclocking won't help because here the bottleneck is the CPU.

I noticed visual improvements more than FPS increases OCing my V5 AGP. There are points where it seems to get more colorfull and defined but FPS dont skyrocket by any means.
