If she ever found out that he had recoreded it he'd be screwed//if he let is slip!
Better off getting the phone records.
Child's play. If he needs he can splice the line and have it come out of a wall wherever in the house and just have a tiny box running on batteries and intercept all incoming that way.
I'm not sure if it's illegal to tape someone without their permission (it might be). It IS, however, inadmissible in court unless BOTH parties are aware of the taping.
So listen in and find out where they're meeting and bring a vid cam. Show it in court later, boom no alimony.

Once somebody is cheating and you know it, I would assume it's incredibly easy to catch them--like really damn simple.

Switch to Vonage... the "dashboard" shows every incoming and outgoing call...

And he can do it under the guise of it "being cheaper".

Heh - Canada must have saner divorce laws then most US states. Don't they have no-fault there?

Switch to a service like Vonage. It provides a web based log of incoming and outgoing calls that you cant alter (i think).

He'll be screwed in divorce court regardless, why should it matter?

So I just phoned the telephone provider. The only way to get a detailed list from them is if the police request it (which won't do him any good). Also, none of their phones seem to log outgoing calls either...

one it's illegal really...but if he suspects her that much WTF is he trying to accomplish?

end the damn relationship.

anyway without having a digital phone system and access to it, you can hide a caller id box for incoming call number ID and use a recorder at the phone box for records of the calls. Or just beige box at the box and listen and reply live if that's his cup of tea.
