its your basic optical mouse... not really much else to say about it. ive never had a problem with it and ive found that sort of shaped mouse pretty comfortable. id say spend hte extra 5 dollars and buy an oem logitech mx500 but thats just me :)

You might want to look into something with more than the standard mouse buttons, like the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical. The side buttons are great, in IE and Firefox they're automatically bound to forward/back, which makes navigation easier. It's nice in FPS's too, because you can bind crouch/jump to them.

I believe Logitech makes a 5 button mouse too, I don't know for sure. I love my Intellimouse Optical though.

All my years of gaming and web browsing, my top mouse choice would be the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical. I've gone through MS Explorer 3.0, Logitech Dual Optical, MX300, MX310, MX500, MX510, MX1000, standard ball mice, Razor Diamondback, and many more. My personal preference is the Intellimouse Optical. Plain and simple. Symmetrical.

Also I don't like Logitech mice because of their inherent nature to have mouse acceleration. Horrible in FPS games.

I like the tilt function of MX1000 . At present I uses MS trackball explorer for daily work

Logitech MX510 or MS intellimouse optical....
Tilt function is good, then get MX1000 or intellimouse explorer 4.0
