Need ideas for Pirate Halloween garb.

Am pretty sure I will need:

- A good 3 point hat
- Headwrap, likely black
-Puffy shirt, ideally red but could also consider purple or some pattern. NOT white, too hard to care for.
- Leather vest
- Pantaloons, probably black, maybe leather
- Boots with enough length to fold over
- Sash
- Belt which can hold the weight of:
- one sword and one dagger each with a scabbard, and maybe one pistol

- one gold loop earring
- one ring per finger
- one or two pendants
- john lennon prescription glasses in pink, purple or maybe blue

Anything else?
 
Only hot chicks can be sexy pirates so stop using up their outfits....

Then again it works for any outfit. 😛

GET A CHICKEN! Dress the chicken up as a parrot. Get a white chicken and spray paint it with parrot colors. Then, strap its legs to your shoulder. 😀 Of course, that would interfere with your chances of picking up a female dressed as a pirate, but you've posted in the past that the odds of that are negligible anyway. So, may as well win a best costume prize instead.

You'll want the chicken for about 3 days before you make your costume - don't feed or water the chicken for those three days.
 
God DAMN!

If Amazon is any indication, a pirates costume is by far the most expensive you can make. The accessories are dirt cheap. I found some nice rings and pendants for 2-3 dollars with Prime.
But the pants, vest, shirt and boots are gonna kill me. Maybe I'll just buy a premade outfit with plastic parts for 19.95.

Watch Pirates of the Caribbean & take notes about pirates v Brit Navy. Then get pointy beard & pointy hat & pointy sword.
 
Got banned before I could report back.

Have pretty much all my stuff. The boot/boot topping situation is a mess though. I never realized my calves are so thick. Cant find anything that fits properly, and certainly cannot afford custom made long boots. May just have to use freakin galoshes from Walmart or something.

Will post pics of my ensemble and sexy new beard in a couple days.
