Triangle on the left is: [12*(26-18)]/2=48

Area of the whole rectangle: 12*26=312

Area of the figure: 312-48=264 u^2

Approximately 264... To be certain, we'd have to know that the opposite walls are parallel, or that the two angles on the right end are, in fact, both 90 degrees. Note: his drawing is definitely not to scale. I don't trust geometrical drawings from people who can't find the area of a trapezoid 😛
