Going out Hiking this weekend. I have some high end camera gear (Nikon D300, two lenses and a flash and accessories) and would like to maybe buy a new backpack. I already have a big one for my camera gear, but I would also like to bring a bottle of wine and cheese/crackers and a blanket to have a nice pit stop along the way. The physical dimensions of my big camera backpack do not allow to carry a full wine bottle and camera stuff. Anyone know of a backpack where I can possibly get all this crap into? Or maybe I'm not being creative enough...how else can I carry all this crap without the backpack being bigger than me...lol And I don't want it to be obvious I have wine with me, going to be a surprise.

buy a bag only as large as you, and put it all in that.

or take a small cooler...unless you like your wine at whatever temperature it is where youre going to be hiking.

im not really sure how hard this is....your bag wont fit all you need, so you clearly buy a larger bag, or an extra bag for the other goods

i assume you're going hiking with someone else? make them carry the wine/picnic stuff while you stick with your camera bag?
