Need helping finding a laptop....

Being that my budget at work can't afford me a laptop and a replacement tower I am looking at getting a 12" C2D laptop above 2Ghz, 4GB RAM, Docking station, NO glossy screen, and optical drive are a must.

I like lenovo's matte screens but no optical, I like HP's offering as far as CPU power and optical drive but all seem to be glossy screen. Please tell me I am missing my dream (for work at least) laptop somewhere.

get an X200 with a dock and optical drive.

whats your budget at work? because thats going to run you $1600 or so

Yea the x200 is looking more and more like my choice. The budget is no problem as far as getting a laptop, I just can't have both things.



Louisssss I checked those out but the I need above 2Ghz (this will need to last me around 3yrs unless I can get a chance later to upgrade), and the sony just doesn't seem to have the business quality of lenovo.

I did price out the x200 last night with everything I needed, came in just shy of 2k (edit: 2100 actually). I can make the case for that as our Dell opti 755's with C2d 3ghz and fully loaded to our specs come out at about 17-1800. Also I saw a few people running dual displays with the x200 while in its dock, which will be good news for me.

I did like the Asus Lamborghini(sp) 2.8Ghz in such a small package but 3k...ouch.
