i want to create a raid 1 on my win xp box using nvraid ( i have an msi k8n ne2 platinum.)
i have four disks set up
sata 1.0 36gb raptor
sata 1.1 36gb raptor
sata 2.0 80gb sata drive
sata 2.1 80gb sata drive
i created a mirrored set with the two raptor drives in the nvraid bios.
i wanted to run raid 1 on the raptors and have that as my os volume, but everytime i install xp pro is stops at the starting windows portion of the install.
i installed the sata drivers (raid driver and storage controller) after pressing f6 and then it goes forward until it reaches the end and says starting windows. then it just hangs there.
any ideas?
